Along the 244 miles from Charleston, South Carolina to Florida's state line, the ICW abandons the common canals and dredged cuts to wind its way across wide river mouths, through spectacular sounds, and behind and across coastal inlets. All are quite navigable and offer magnificent views of the Hilton Head and Lowcountry environment.
