Boys & Girls Club’s 12th Annual Hilton Head Island Spring Gala

Celebrate the spirit and successes of our local children at the Boys & Girls Club of the Lowcountry  12th Annual Hilton Head Island Spring Gala on Saturday, March 24, 2012. This elegant event will be held at the Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa. The Gala begins with cocktails at 6 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m. Deas Guyz, a local favorite band, will present a lively mix of dance, pop, rock, Motown and R & B designed to get you up and on the dance floor.

Included in the evenings events will be silent and live auctions packed with extraordinary travel opportunities such as centre court at Wimbledon to exciting vacations in Italy and Barbados, as well as local treasures like a cocktail party for 30 of your closest friends at the South Carolina Yacht Club or a private evening with Chef Matt Jording at the Sage Room on Hilton Head where you’ll be treated to a four-course dining experience that you will soon not forget.

In the past 10 years,  this event has raised more than one million dollars to help fund six area clubs that serve more than 6,000 kids annually through well-attended events like concerts and sports camps. Hundreds of Hilton Head kids take part in after school and summer activities designed to enhance their academics, athletics, art and civic involvement while developing their character in a safe and secure environment.
